is a website that will help those in 6 counties of S.E. Michigan, find the resources they need

in one quick, easy place that could be accessed at any time, day or night, in the privacy

of their home or office or even on your phone!   This website offers not only well-known

agencies in S.E. Michigan, but private and religious organizations which other "information

agencies" do not offer.  You also do NOT have to call an "information agency" and speak

to an intake worker, receive only 3 resources

Community Housing Network

is a nonprofit organization committed to providing homes for people in need through proven strategies of homelessness prevention, housing assistance and development, community education and referral, advocacy, and additional services.  CHN also provides a Housing Choice Voucher or (Section 8) alert list.

Children’s Programs

ABC Mouse

ABC mouse offers 6 online academic levels of kids' education.   The Step-by-Step Learning Path presents the full ABCmouse.com curriculum in a carefully designed program of more than 450 lessons in six levels.   As your child completes each lesson, he or she is guided to the next one and is motivated to continue learning by ABCmouse.com’s Tickets and Rewards System.

 

ABC Mouse usually costs $7.99 a month but Rockwood Residents can request a password for each child from the Executive Director.

 

Border Patrol Explorer Program

The Explorer Program offers opportunities in character building, good citizenship, and fitness for young men and women ages 14 through 21. Law Enforcement Explorer posts offer programs in law enforcement and criminal justice, which provide Explorers with practical training and hands-on experience in those areas. The CBP Law Enforcement Explorer Program provides opportunities for Explorers to participate in federal enforcement-related activities within the CBP. The Explorer Program meets on Gibraltar Road just East of Jefferson every other Sunday from 4-7pm
